Akron residents: Students living over 2 miles from Akron Preparatory may benefit from free bus transportation provided by Petermann. Families must apply for this service by filling out the Akron District Request for Transportation along with providing a Proof of Residency (and birth certificate for new students) and turning it in to the School Office. Free Breakfast and Lunch
Healthy bodies fuel healthy minds! All students are eligible for free breakfast and free lunch each school day as part of the National School Breakfast and Lunch Program. Each healthy meal is prepared on campus and includes protein, fruits, vegetables, whole grain products, and milk. Throughout the week, we also offer fresh fruit and vegetable snacks in between meal times.

We observe a strict dress code policy for all grade levels as a way to help our school stay focused on academics and help our families keep wardrobe costs affordable. Scholars are required to wear: White, long-sleeved button down collared blouse or dress shirt (no polos), black pants or skirt, black or white socks, and black dress shoes. Scholars in grades K-5 are additionally required to wear a black sweater vest*. Akron Preparatory School will provide ties to all students and blazers to students in grades 6-8.
