✨ Dear Akron Prep Families,

As we close another successful school year, I want to thank our students, families, and staff for their hard work, dedication, and partnership throughout the year. May was filled with memorable moments, including Field Day, promotion ceremonies for Kindergarten, 5th Grade, and 8th Grade, and celebrations recognizing the accomplishments of our scholars.

We are incredibly proud of the growth our students demonstrated academically, socially, and emotionally this year. Thank you for supporting your child and our school community every step of the way.

As we look ahead to the 2026-2027 school year, we are excited about the momentum we have built as a school community. Akron Prep continues to grow, and we are actively working toward our goal of serving 390 scholars next year. Thank you to the many families who have already completed re-enrollment and referred friends and family members to our school. Your partnership helps us continue to strengthen and grow our Akron Prep family.

While school is out for the summer, learning does not have to stop. We encourage families to continue reading daily, practicing math skills, visiting local libraries, and engaging in educational experiences throughout the summer months. These activities help students return prepared and confident for the new school year.

Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year remains a top priority. We are currently accepting new student applications and continuing re-enrollment efforts. If you have not completed your child's enrollment paperwork, please do so as soon as possible to secure your seat for next year. Families who know of friends, neighbors, or relatives looking for a great school are encouraged to refer them to Akron Prep.

Save the Date: The First Day of School is August 18, 2026!

Throughout the summer, our team will continue hosting enrollment events, community outreach opportunities, and family engagement activities. We look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming events.
Thank you for being part of the Akron Prep family. We wish you a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer break.

With appreciation and commitment,

Jon Thompson, Principal

Akron Preparatory School

Small amounts of learning each day can make a big difference.
